七、My  Pet
GAO  Chang
My  pet  is  a  dog.  Its  name  is  Beibei.  Its  hair  is  white.  It  has  two  big  black  eyes,  a  small  nose,  a  small  mouth  and  a  long  tail.  It  likes  eating  meat.  Beibei  likes  sleeping  on  the  sofa.  But  my  father  doesn’t  like  it  to  do  that.  Every  evening,  my  pet,  Beibei,  plays  ball  games  with  me  in  the  park.  At  night,  Beibei  sleeps  beside  my  bed.  I  like  Beibei,  because  it  is  very  lovely  and  considerate.

八、My  Summer  Holidays
Chang  Gao
I  am  in  grade  five.  This  autumn  I  will  be  in  grade  six.  In  the  final  examination,  my  English  score  is  eighty–three;  my  Chinese  score  is  seventy–five.  My  maths  score  is  ninety–five.  I  must  study  harder  in  this  summer  holiday.  In  the  morning,  I  read  some  books  from  half  past  eight  to  half  past  nine,  I  write  English  paper  from  twenty  to  ten  to  eleven  o’clock,  I  write  Chinese  paper  from  twelve  o’clock  to  one  o’clock,  I  have  a  short  rest,  from  one  o’clock  to  four  o’clock,  I  write  maths  paper  and  composition.  At  seven  o’clock  I  go  to  bed,  now  learned  how  to  write  in  English  and  Chinese.  On  august  I  am  going  to  Hefei  by  car,  I  am  happy  this  summer  holiday.
